A triple header this weekend with Fist of Flour Pizza!

Well folks, I’m back from the Dead, almost fully recovered and rested up for the Big march madness Finale! Well for me anyway. We’re heading out into East Oakland to do two very special events, plus our regular Farmer’s market stop should be happening by 11 am.

Please note folks I will be Late to Saturday morning at the Laurel Farmer’s market because Friday night, we’ll be set up down at the Vulcan Studios, 4401 San Leandro St. In front of the Roll up Bike Shop, for the annual Bike joust and Dubstep dance party.

Yeah follow that link and check out the list of Deejays and activities for the evening. The bike joust should begin around 7 pm, and the dance party will get going by 10 pm. We’ll be set up as well from 7 pm till we run out, and we’re planning for a big crowd.

We’ll be doing two yummy pies Friday: the High St special, with spicy italian pork sausage, shallots, cherry tomatoes and finished with fresh basil. For the vegetarians, we’ll have Crimini Mushroom, fresh garlic, and thyme. Both Pies feature house made red sauce and whole milk mozzarella. we’ll also do up a couple plain old cheese pizzas just in case.

Saturday morning we’ll most likely still have those same two pies to offer. if not I’ll make up a veggie farmer’s special on the spot. I may very well need a re-up for saturday. So we’ll see what the market crowd gets.

After the Farmer’s market, we’ll be making a Guest appearance, showing support for fellow Food truckers, Guerilla Grub at their Full-on truck fundraiser come and check out their Deal at La Placita, 2375 Fruitvale ave. Saturday from 3-7 pm. check the link for the deets.

After that we’re off to the Vulcan Studios again, but this time for a totally different event. Its a speakeasy bollwood style evening of performance and theater, and FOF will be featuring some sort of Indian style pizza, and probably a few traditional pizzas. This event is from 8 pm till? Presented by Lucid dream lounge. call 510 436 6760 for Directions and Information. Tickets are $20 but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

So get ready to eat some pizza this weekend!
